FTC Notches Fresh Victory In Spam Text Campaign

Law360, New York (February 28, 2014, 6:49 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission on Wednesday bagged another win in a spam text enforcement sweep, settling with two Chicago firms accused of directing affiliate marketers to send tens of millions of messages that coaxed consumers to divulge personal information through phony retail gift card offers.
