Shareholder Alleges Wrongdoing At NeuroMetrix

Law360, New York (March 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Medical device maker NeuroMetrix Inc. is facing a proposed shareholder class action alleging that it lacked adequate internal and financial controls and gave kickbacks to doctors to promote the company's product to their peers.

The lawsuit, which was filed by shareholder Gordon L. Hill on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts is at least the second such suit filed against the company.
