RE Rumor Mill: Waldorf Astoria, Domino Sugar, SoHo China

Law360, New York (February 28, 2014, 8:51 PM EST) -- The owners of a 792,000-square-foot office tower in downtown Memphis plan to spend about $100 million to convert the building into apartments and a hotel, according to the Memphis Business Journal. The ownership group's managing member told the Journal that the current tenants at the property have until June 1 to vacate so construction can begin. The plans call for 266 apartments and a 171-room hotel that will operate a rooftop restaurant.
