Minerals Technologies Bumps Bid To $1.5B For Amcol

Law360, New York (March 3, 2014, 2:11 PM EST) -- Minerals Technologies Inc. said Monday that it again has upped its bid to buy Amcol International Corp., offering almost $1.5 billion not including debt, in a deal the company called "clearly superior" to Imerys SA's most recent proposal.
