DOL Asks High Court To Weigh Rules On Agency About-Faces

Law360, New York (March 3, 2014, 6:17 PM EST) -- The U.S Department of Labor on Friday asked the Supreme Court to overturn the D.C. Circuit's requirement that an agency engage in formal rulemaking procedures before it significantly changes an interpretative rule, urging the justices to reverse a decision that nixed the reclassification of mortgage loan officers as eligible for overtime pay.
