Jury Deals Blow To Former National Century Head

Law360, New York (March 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The founder of National Century Financial Enterprises has been found guilty of trying to bribe a former colleague to stop her from testifying in his upcoming trial over an alleged scheme to fleece the health care lender's investors out of billions of dollars.

On Wednesday, an Ohio jury convicted Lance Poulsen and his purported accomplice, Karl Demmler, on four counts of obstructing justice and witness tampering.
