Viacom, NBC, ESPN Fined $2M Over 'Olympus Has Fallen' Ads

Law360, New York (March 3, 2014, 3:29 PM EST) -- Federal regulators want to fine Viacom Inc., NBCUniversal Media Inc. and ESPN Inc. a combined $1.9 million over advertisements for the action flick "Olympus Has Fallen" that misused the warning sounds of the Emergency Alert System, the government said Monday.
