Ala. Real Estate Investor Gets Probation For Bid Rigging

Law360, New York (March 6, 2014, 7:47 PM EST) -- A real estate investor was sentenced to three years probation in Alabama federal court Wednesday for his role in a conspiracy to rig bids at public real estate foreclosure auctions.

David R. Bradley was part of a group of investors and real estate companies involved in the scheme to keep the price of foreclosed homes in southern Alabama low by agreeing to not compete against other bidders, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
