NY Tax Preparer Rules Give Glimpse Of Future Regulation

Law360, New York (March 10, 2014, 6:12 PM EDT) -- New regulations aimed at reining in tax preparers in New York will likely serve as the framework for similar controls in other states, and although the Empire State's new rules do not currently apply to CPAs, attorneys and enrolled agents, these groups could face further regulation in the near future.
