Bad News For REITs In Camp’s Tax Proposals

Law360, New York (March 7, 2014, 1:18 PM EST) -- On Feb. 26, Chairman David Camp of the House Ways and Means Committee issued a discussion draft of a comprehensive tax reform proposal titled the Tax Reform Act of 2014. The draft bill proposes some far-reaching changes to the real estate investment trust and real estate-related provisions of the Internal Revenue Code.
