NY AG Taps Antitrust Expert For Chief Economist

Law360, New York (March 7, 2014, 7:04 PM EST) -- New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman on Friday tapped antitrust expert Guy Ben-Ishai to become his new chief economist, a position in which he will help shape the attorney general's antitrust and securities enforcement efforts.

Ben-Ishai will be in charge of the economic analysis used to support the attorney general's investigations, litigation and policy development and is expected to have a key role in molding enforcement efforts, the attorney general's office said.
