Today, we look at the relief in settled CFPB enforcement cases. While there are exceptions, the relief typically consists of a combination of, or sometimes all of, the following:
1. Orders prohibiting the continuing and future violation of consumer laws, including cease and desist orders in administrative proceedings and injunctions in court proceedings.
