FTC Weighs 1st Of Funeral Co.'s Divestitures In $1B Merger

Law360, New York (March 12, 2014, 3:39 PM EDT) -- After ordering Service Corp. International to shed 91 funeral homes and cemeteries to secure approval for its $1.4 billion acquisition of Stewart Enterprises Inc., the Federal Trade Commission on Wednesday began reviewing SCI's plan to divest two California properties to Angeleno Mortuaries Inc.
