NTSB Chair To Step Down To Head National Safety Council

Law360, New York (March 12, 2014, 4:04 PM EDT) -- The chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board is stepping down after nearly 10 years at the agency to join nonprofit the National Safety Council as CEO, the NTSB said Tuesday.

NTSB Chairman Deborah A.P. Hersman will leave the agency in late April, after which Vice Chairman Christopher Hart will take over as acting chairman, the agency said in a statement Tuesday.
