BraunHagey DQ'd In Gotham City Trade Secrets Case

Law360, San Francisco (March 12, 2014, 7:22 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday barred BraunHagey & Borden LLP from representing shoe retailer Gotham City Online LLC in its lawsuit accusing Art.com of illegally copying Gotham's databases, finding the firm had become tainted by examining internal Art.com documents protected by attorney-client privilege.

U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey White granted Art.com's motion to disqualify BraunHagey's attorneys, in which it argued they had not only seen privileged documents, but used them to develop legal claims against Art.com.
