DOJ Accuses Bazaarvoice Of Ignoring Antitrust Ruling

Law360, New York (March 13, 2014, 7:26 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Wednesday defended its proposal to force Bazaarvoice Inc. to license its technology in certain circumstances to whoever buys PowerReviews Inc., accusing Bazaarvoice of ignoring the ruling that the merger was anti-competitive.

The antitrust enforcer urged the court to reject Bazaarvoice's complaints about the proposed remedies, which are designed to re-create PowerReviews as a major player in the market for online product review services.
