Terumo Hit With Patent Suits In ITC And U.S. Court

Law360, New York (April 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Swedish medical company Maquet Cardiovascular LLC said Tuesday that it has filed patent infringement complaints against Terumo Corp. and its subsidiary Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corp. before the International Trade Commission and in a federal court.

The complaints allege that Terumo infringed on two of Maquet's U.S. patents by manufacturing, selling and importing its VirtuoSaph endoscopic vessel harvesting system.
