AT&T, Apple Email Hack Wasn't Illegal, 3rd Circ. Told

Law360, Philadelphia (March 19, 2014, 2:37 PM EDT) -- The actions of a hacker convicted of gaining unauthorized access to AT&T Inc. servers and obtaining over 114,000 email addresses of Apple iPad users did not constitute a violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, an attorney for the defendant told the Third Circuit on Wednesday.
