Unocal, Conoco Triumph Over Calif. Gas Pollution Suit

Law360, New York (March 18, 2014, 3:57 PM EDT) -- Union Oil Co. of California and ConocoPhillips Co. on Monday defeated a California developer’s claims that gasoline leaks dirtied the site of a planned assisted-living facility after arguing at a jury trial that there could be no damages because the project was in flux.
