Stereotaxis Ducks Investor Suit Over Product Projections

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 5:54 PM EDT) -- A Missouri federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a putative shareholder class action against medical device maker Stereotaxis Inc. and some of its officers over optimistic statements and sales projections concerning its flagship cardiovascular catheter control device, ruling the Stereotaxis statements had been forward-looking and nonactionable. 

U.S. District Judge Henry Edward Autrey dismissed the complaint, ruling Stereotaxis' statements about its flagship product Niobe were nonactionable, forward-looking statements protected by the Reform Act's safe harbor provision.
