5th Circ. Denies Energy Co.'s $28M Tax Refund Claim

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 11:41 AM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Tuesday ruled El Paso CGP Co. LLC was not entitled to a $28 million tax refund, saying the IRS followed the Internal Revenue Code when offsetting the energy company's refund claim with its previous tax debt.
