Autonomy Founder Asks HP Shareholders To Expose 'Smear'

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 1:54 PM EDT) -- In an open letter posted on Wednesday, Autonomy Corp. PLC founder Mike Lynch urged Hewlett-Packard Co. shareholders to join him in seeking the truth concerning HP's allegations that Autonomy lied about its financial health before being acquired by HP in 2011.

In his Wednesday letter — unveiled before a shareholder meeting scheduled the same day — Lynch said that HP has continuously misled shareholders and that the company is smearing Autonomy's management while refusing to offer any details of the company's alleged wrongdoing.
