Juror's Illness Delays Trial Of Former Madoff Aides

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 12:47 PM EDT) -- The criminal trial of five former Bernie Madoff associates — already one of the longest in New York federal court history — could be further delayed due to a juror's queasy stomach, a judge said on Wednesday.

Deliberations in the trial began Monday but were halted Tuesday afternoon when one of the 12 jurors became nauseous.
