Biz Groups Target Info Underpinning NLRB Election Rule

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 7:52 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Retail Industry Leaders Association and several other groups sent a Freedom of Information Act request to the National Labor Relations Board on Tuesday seeking information that served as a basis for formulating the NLRB's pending proposal to streamline union elections.

The letter — from attorneys representing the Society for Human Resource Management, the chamber, RILA,  the National Association of Manufacturers and others — asked for a wide variety of information falling into 15 categories.
