11th Circ. Denies Coverage For Apt. Complex Stabbing Cases

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 7:52 PM EDT) -- The Eleventh Circuit on Wednesday relieved The Burlington Insurance Co. of defending or indemnifying an apartment complex operator facing lawsuits from an altercation in which a security guard it employed stabbed two people, affirming that all the underlying claims emanated from the same excluded tort.
