ITC Ends Probe In Nokia's Smartphone IP Case Against HTC

Law360, Los Angeles (March 20, 2014, 6:41 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission won't review an administrative law judge's decision to end an investigation into allegations that HTC Corp. imported smartphones that infringed six Nokia Corp. patents after the parties settled the dispute, according to the Federal Register published Thursday.

No party petitioned for review of the Administrative Law Judge Sandra Dee Lord's initial determination, which was issued in late February, according to the ITC. Google Inc., which had intervened with respect to four of the patents at issue, allegedly didn't oppose the motion...
