NYC Urges High Court To Snuff Exxon's $105M MTBE Appeal

Law360, New York (March 20, 2014, 5:00 PM EDT) -- New York City asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday to preserve a $105 million jury verdict against Exxon Mobil Corp. for polluting groundwater with the gasoline additive methyl tertiary-butyl ether, arguing that the company mishandled the chemical and must pay the price.
