Ex-Versace Mansion Owner Gets OK For Ch. 11 Exit Plan

Law360, Miami (May 14, 2014, 8:02 PM EDT) -- A Florida bankruptcy judge on Wednesday confirmed the Chapter 11 exit plan of the former owner of fashion icon Gianni Versace's former South Beach mansion that centers around the $41.5 million sale of the property to a company controlled by the family behind Jordache jeans.

In a short hearing Wednesday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Laurel M. Isicoff signed off on the exit plan for Casa Casuarina LLC, which had previously operated the mansion as an exclusive members-only club before defaulting on $25 million in debt and filing...
