3rd Circ. Asked To Keep Legal Malpractice Suit In Fed. Court

Law360, Philadelphia (March 25, 2014, 4:08 PM EDT) -- Westport Insurance Corp. on Tuesday urged the Third Circuit to rule that a Pennsylvania resident’s effort to make it pay $4.2 million stemming from a legal malpractice claim belonged in federal court, arguing that federal courts lack the discretion to kick aside a case that centered on damages.
