SEC Director To Rejoin Cleary Gottlieb: Report

Law360, New York (February 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission may have lost its corporate finance director and senior counselor to the very place it lured him away from: his old firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.

In a story published on Monday, U.K. legal trade The Lawyer reported that Alan Beller would soon be returning to Clearly Gottlieb, the international law firm where he worked prior to joining the SEC in January 2002.
