Chrysler Hit With $5M Verdict Over Baby's Death

Law360, New York (April 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Louisiana jury has found DaimlerChrysler Corp. liable for $5 million in damages in the death of an unborn infant when the family's Jeep Grand Cherokee unexpectedly powered into reverse, injuring the mother, as they set off to the hospital to deliver the child.
