Krispy Kreme Franchisee Retains Perkins Coie

Law360, New York (February 8, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Now-bankrupt Krispy Kreme franchisee Glazed Investments has looked to the bankruptcy group at Perkins Coie LLP to guide it through Chapter 11 proceedings, filing a motion in bankruptcy court to retain the firm.

The company listed partner Daniel A. Zazove and associate Jason D. Horwitz as counsel for the ailing pastry company.

Zazove will be compensated at a rate of $575 per hour, and Horwitz will receive $350 an hour, according to court documents.
