Judge Orders Leaked Garlock Hearing Transcripts Destroyed

Law360, Los Angeles (April 9, 2014, 7:58 PM EDT) -- A North Carolina judge overseeing Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC’s bankruptcy case on Monday ordered anyone who downloaded confidential transcripts that were accidentally released to destroy all physical and digital copies and report back to the court. 

A series of transcripts from confidential hearings were supposed to be redacted when they were uploaded to the court’s online docketing system in late March, but court staff noticed that the documents were not redacted about an hour after they were publicly available, according to an order from U.S. Bankruptcy...
