N.Y. Governor Objects To Long Island LNG Project

Law360, New York (April 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- New York's new governor has stepped out against the proposed Broadwater Energy LLC liquefied natural gas project, which received the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's conditional approval last month.

“One of my goals as governor is to protect the Long Island Sound by preserving it as a valuable estuary, an economic engine for the region and a key component to making Long Island's quality of life one of the best in the country,” Gov.
