N.Y. Chief Judge Sues State Over Judicial Pay Freeze

Law360, New York (April 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- New York Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye has filed suit on behalf of the state’s judiciary against New York’s governor and legislature, claiming the nine-year freeze on judicial pay violates New York’s constitution.
