EPA Settles Lawsuit Over Power Plant Emissions

Law360, New York (April 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to pass tougher standards for coal- and oil-burning power plant emissions in order to settle a lawsuit brought by a group of environmental advocates, but the issue of whether the EPA is required to act to curb global warming remains unresolved.
