Skybus Workers Allegedly Not Warned Of Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (April 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former employees of recently bankrupt Skybus Airlines Inc. have filed a class action against the carrier, claiming the company broke the law by not giving them notice that they would lose their jobs.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday by former employees James Crawley, Aaron Greene and Hay Osterholt in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, alleges that the airline violated the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act by not giving 60 days' notice of the mass layoffs.
