Kirkland Tussles With Solutia Trustee Over Fees

Law360, New York (April 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Kirkland & Ellis LLP has fired back at the U.S. trustee's opposition to its bid for more than $57 million in fees in connection with the Chapter 11 proceedings of newly reorganized Solutia Inc., saying it played a “necessary and critical role” in the company's successful emergence.
