Burns & Levison Forms Subprime Advisory Team

Law360, New York (April 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As the subprime crisis continues to impact investment banks, mortgage lenders and investors, law firms are creating specialized practice groups to address the credit crunch. Burns & Levison followed suit this week by forming a subprime advisory team.

The Boston-based firm said on Friday that partners from its securities litigation, securities regulation, finance, public finance, bankruptcy and Employee Retirement Income Security Act practices would form the group.

It will advise investors, brokerages, fiduciaries and businesses impacted by the subprime crisis.
