Wholesaler Accuses Verizon Of Predatory Pricing

Law360, New York (April 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A New York phone company has hit Verizon Communications Inc. with an antitrust suit claiming the telecommunications giant improperly wooed the company's customers and delivered wholesalers substandard service in an attempt to corner the market.

Brooklyn-based Alpha Phone Inc. filed the suit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, accusing Verizon of predatory pricing, discriminatory practices and using illegally obtained information to lure Alpha customers, among other charges.
