Poker Players, World Poker Tour Settle Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (April 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- World Poker Tour Enterprises Inc., which operates the televised, high-stakes poker tournament World Poker Tour, and five professional poker players have settled their ongoing dispute over whether the company’s release forms signed by the players violate federal and state antitrust laws.

The settlement, announced Friday by both parties, puts to rest a lawsuit filed by the players in July 2006 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
