Metavation Slams GM's Pursuit Of $10M Post-Asset Sale

Law360, Los Angeles (May 13, 2014, 6:16 PM EDT) -- A unit of bankrupt Revstone Industries LLC fought back against a $10 million collection attempt by General Motors LLC, saying it doesn’t owe the automaker anything after selling its assets, according to court papers filed Friday in Delaware bankruptcy court.

TPOP LLC, formerly known as Metavation LLC, said GM had no right to come after it for the funds because the Detroit auto company had taken its profits in the asset sale, according to an objection to GM’s motion to compel payment.
