SAP Owes Oracle $1.3B Over Stolen Software, 9th Circ. Told

Law360, San Francisco (May 13, 2014, 6:22 PM EDT) -- Oracle Corp. urged the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday to restore a jury verdict ordering SAP AG to pay $1.3 billion in damages for infringing Oracle's software copyrights, arguing that the verdict was well supported by trial evidence and a lower court was wrong to slash the award by a billion dollars.
