High Court To Hear Anti-Dumping Case

Law360, New York (April 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case over whether certain uranium imports should be subject to anti-dumping duties.

The French company Eurodif SA and the U.S. Department of Commerce have long been locked in a legal battle over the import of low-enriched uranium, which is used in commercial nuclear power plants.

In the case the high court has agreed to hear, Eurodif receives unenriched uranium from U.S. utilities and sends back low-enriched uranium.
