Judge Approves $49M Enviro Clean Up For Eastman Biz Park

Law360, New York (May 14, 2014, 6:13 PM EDT) -- Rochester, New York's sprawling Eastman Business Park, where Eastman Kodak Co. made products for decades, will receive environmental remediation under a $49 million deal, approved Tuesday by a New York bankruptcy judge, that also will fund a look at whether the Genesee River also was polluted.

The Chapter 11 settlement creates a trust that will be administered by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
