Zyprexa Attorneys Come Up Short in Fee Request

Law360, New York (April 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The magistrate judge overseeing the Zyprexa multidistrict litigation has dashed the hopes of a group of plaintiffs attorneys looking for an additional payday in the case over the anti-psychotic drug, opting to award them much less than the $6 million in supplemental fees sought.

On Tuesday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Roanne L. Mann of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York rejected the law firms' bid for a collective $6 million, choosing to give four firms an extra $600,000 for their efforts....
