Texas Regulator Greenlights Marathon Injection Well

Law360, Dallas (May 22, 2014, 7:53 PM EDT) -- The Texas Railroad Commission on Thursday gave Marathon Oil Co. the go-ahead for an injection well permit to dispose oil and gas waste in the Eagle Ford, blocking a request by an area groundwater district to force a hearing on the potential for water contamination.
