Real Estate Partners Older And Wiser But Not Richer

Law360, New York (May 28, 2014, 7:52 PM EDT) -- Experience doesn't mean a lot more money for real estate attorneys at the country's largest law firms, with a new survey of billing rates showing only a slim difference in the hourly rates commanded by senior partners and junior attorneys in this area of the law.

According to the new Billing Rate Reference 2014 report from Law360 and BTI Consulting Group Inc., law firms with more than 400 attorneys charge $658 per hour for senior real estate partners and $585 per hour for partners — a difference of just $73 an hour.
