Judge Keeps Cessna Canadian Crash Case In U.S.

Law360 (April 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Kansas federal court refused Wednesday to dismiss litigation over a Cessna Aircraft Co. plane crash in Canada, ruling that the plane manufacturer failed to prove that a Canadian court would be a more appropriate venue for the case.

Judge Kathryn H. Vratil of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas overruled Cessna's motion to dismiss the claims of Nancy Chase-Allan's survivors for forum non conveniens.
