French Gov't Sues Over Hotel-Pricing Practices

Law360, New York (May 28, 2014, 5:22 PM EDT) -- The French government has sued hotel reservation website BV, accusing the company of anti-competitive business practices related to its hotel agreements, according to an announcement Tuesday.

French Economy Minister Arnaud Montebourg said in a statement that officials uncovered unfair clauses in the Inc. subsidiary’s contracts that prohibit hotels from offering prices for rooms at a price lower than those displayed on’s website.
